Important Information

Our kits are designed to “take and go.” In the event of a major earthquake or disaster, you and your family may need to evacuate or move to a safe location until help arrives. The kits are very compact.

Food

The food ration is approved by the United States Coast Guard. It has a shelf life of 5 years, is pleasant tasting (shortbread cookie like) and no preparation is required. It is also approved for use by diabetics. Each bar has individually wrapped servings.

After 5 years, the foodbars lose their nutritional value.

Water

Each kit contains several pouches of 4.2 oz. water packaged in easy to tear packets. These are also approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and have a shelf life of 5 years. The pouches are heat and compression proof – they are fine for outside or auto storage.

After 5 years, the water will start tasting like the packaging.

Emergency Thermal Blanket

Emergency Thermal Blanket Serves a number of uses. It unfolds to 84″ X 52″ and weighs only 1 ounce. It retains 90% of your body heat in the winter and reflects the sun’s heat in the summer. It is also a reflective device that is highly visible from the sky.

Snap Light Stick

Simply snap and shake. The stick provides 12 hours of continuous light.

We only use the safest materials in our Lightsticks. Our products are lab tested and proven to be entirely safe. In fact, our products can be used by children. We have the highest standards of quality and safety and do not contain any of the banned chemicals that are used in glow sticks from China.

Body Warmer

This is a chemical heat pad. Once removed from package, you squeeze. It provides 20 hours of heat. If you reseal the pad in a zip lock bag, the heat will stop so that you can use the pad later for a total of 20 hours.

Work Gloves and Dust Mask

There is a tremendous amount of glass and debris around after a major earthquake. Work gloves and dust mask are great tools for protection.

AM/FM Solar/Crank Radio

AM/FM Crank Radio with LED Flashlight AM/FM and Weatherband crank-powered radio (no batteries required).  The radio includes a very bright 5-LED flashlight with a high decibel siren.
